Dollhouse actor Harry Lennix joins Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel

*Harry Lennix has joined the cast of _Man Of Steel_, according to a
report by Variety.*

The actor, best known for his roles in _The Matrix_ sequels and Joss
Whedon's TV show Dollhouse, has signed on to play General Swanwick, a
high-ranking military officer in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot.

Lennix has the kind of don't-mess-with-me glare and growly tones that
would make him a perfect fit for this kind of role.

It's also pleasing, from an action perspective, to see that the
military will be getting involved with Supes' latest adventure.

Snyder has already assembled quite the cast for _Man Of Steel_, with
Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon
and Russell Crowe among the names that have signed on.

The reboot is produced by Christopher Nolan, who came up with the
story alongside screenwriter David S. Goyer (_Batman Begins_).

_Man Of Steel_ is expected to arrive in cinemas in December 2012.
