Fred Durst Signs Cope With CBS & CBS Galleries, Will Star In Comedy Project

EXCLUSIVE: Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is searching to front their own comedy series next. Durst has signed his first TV cope with CBS and CBS TV Galleries. Underneath the pact, he's joined with CBS TV Galleries-based producers Eric and Kim Tannenbaum on the half-hour comedy project, that they will star in and convey. The untitled comedy, sometimes known to as Douchebag, has brought a script commitment. It centers around a rock legend searching for balance between his high profile lifestyle and seeking to boost a household. It will likely be compiled by Matthew Carlson (Mr. Sunshine) who'll executive produce using the Tannenbaums. The concept was introduced towards the Tannenbaum Co. by Durst’s manager/producer John Schneider who'll function as a non-writing producer. Schneider has already been running a business using the Tannenbaums, CBS Galleries and CBS. Last season, he and the brother, actor Take advantage of Schneider, created a family comedy with similar auspices, that was inspired by Take advantage of Schneider’s real-existence encounters. The project lately received a midseason series order by CBS. Around the TV side, Durst’s only previous credits were arcs on NBC’s limited series Facts and Fox’s House. In features, he directed The Training of Charlie Banks and also the Longshots.
